Squats suck. Knowing you have to do them that day sucks. The buildup and anxiety sucks. Doing them sucks... But man, once it's all over and you're basically crawling out of the gym, its the best f*cking feeling in the world. Like you really, truly conquered something.

Squatting is the hardest workout ever created. I literally get anxiety when its leg day, ur whole body is in pain.

FYI. My great uncle Jim Longhurst, he trained and competed in the 80's got 5th in Mr Universe anyways he told me he was invited to America to train with Tom Platz and some others, and he told me that Tom was not human. He was a walking talking, machine!

Ive been lifting weights off and on for a long time. Mostly on started when i was 12 im now 48. You hear people say that the deadlift is the exercise that truly proofs a person's strength. I disagree ive always felt like the squat is. Doing reps like he's talking about is beyond brutal. Just doing like 20 reps with like 80% of your 1 rep max is brutal. Like i read in some of the other comments on squat day your nervous you have anxiety. You're wondering if you have what it takes. But ive learned over the years and i tell people just getting started. The excirecise that you really dont want to do. Because there so physically demanding are probly what you need to be doing. If your goal is to become bigger and stronger.

I can't imagine the size and quality his wheels would have if he competed today. Probably the size of Neck Zilla with way more seperation and quality.
