My life fell apart when I tried living through PTSD without asking for help. I shut my partner out, walked out of our relationship including a new born son. I didn't know how to ask for help and felt my brain and soul was too broken for others to let in. I will never be able to repay the lonely nights she spent for weeks before I finally accepted help and her forgiveness. Somehow we did mend and 3 years on I am more in love than ever and feel happier and healthier than I ever was. This was one of the film's we had watched together prior to our break up and I think it would be too sad to rewatch. This song hurts me inspite of its beauty. It reminds me how fragile life is, and how our behaviour affects others 😔
