Man… you are so truly brilliant & helpful. Probably one of, if not the most informative channels on this whole site. Easily one of the most knowledgeable. Keep it up my brother. Keep learning, keep teaching, & more importantly, keep enjoying what you’re doing. You’re an inspiration to all of us technicians man, I’ve got the UTMOST respect for you & for everything
You do. You’re like master I’ve always wanted to apprentice for.

You got that right. I worked as a GM tech from my late teens to early 30s. My back was already wrecked.

I remember my water pump giving out on my cummins. I didn't know what it looked like and when I got one at the parts store I thought they gave me the wrong part. It only had 2 bolts and fit in the palm of my hand!

Do you have to empty and recharge the AC due to removing the condenser? Just asking.

I’ve done it both ways and agree the rads need to come out. So much easier

I'm used to Hondas and that water pump is HUGE

Same with a Taurus or Explorer. Only those are inside the engine.

Another better idea from Ford.

Old school water pump failure. Many of the old engines you could by a rebuild kit to swap out those bearings. To be fair back then it was either bad coolant (to much water or old) or the belts to tight putting too much sideways pressure. Alternators where another issue with bearing on a belt that was too tight. many people over tighten because the squeal.
