As far as style goes I’m a big fan of the 11-16 trucks. Partially because I have one, but I do love the look. 17-19 are great looking too. They aren’t over styled. Simple and sleek is the way to go. The current truck along with the f150 is not my cup of tea. Not a fan of the styling. The interiors look great. Just don’t care for the exterior all that much. Although the Chevy looks horrendous. So this would be an excellent option if you’re a Chevy guy. Great review man .

Yes Sir! Great video, I just picked up a 19' F-250 XLT with 148xxx miles, standard 6.5 bed So far i love the truck and I am very happy with my purchase. This weekend i will start updating the Airflow. I plan on contacting the Diesel Dudes to get a tuner and a local shop to block off the EGR and remove the DPF.

I agree. I purchased my 2017 Platinum brand new and it's been a keeper. Deleted at 70k with Proven tunes while still under warranty. I couldn't stand the idea of poisoning my engine any longer. I love my truck and wish I had bought a spare 17-19.

Have daily driven my 17 f350 cclb and worked the hell out of it with 0 issues. I agree the 17s-19s look the best on the exterior, but I also love those 11-16s.

Don’t care for the badging and plastic on the new ones.

I puchased a 2019 Lariat Ultimate 2 weeks ago with 106K miles for 44k. Best decision ever.

I ordered a 17 new, favorite truck ever. The 17-19 were the tallest trucks, Ford lowered the later ones an inch and a half roughly. Truck has been worth FAR MORE than loan balance for a long time. Supplemental cab heat is also genius, not sure if yours has that.

I spray my frame with fluid film and krown rust proofing. I guarantee if you spray your entire frame twice a year it will never rust. You can get fluid film from lowes. Do it in the spring and right before winter.

Regarding the cp4. You can get a disaster prevention kit, keep using the hotshot secret, and when the cp4 dies, get the s and s diesel replacement.

Great video. I picked up a 2017 in 2020. Lariat ultimate F350 with 32, 000 miles for $48K. Mines white too but the 6.5 bed. Built before covid with lock down pricing! It came deleted with an icon 4” lift wheels and 35’s. I love this truck. 65, 000 on it now and it’s been trouble free. We tow a 40’ toy hauler. Small fuel tank though. Might do the 60 gal conversion.

I bought a 7200 mile, 2019 SC 4X4 Platinum in 2021. I got lucky it has a camper special factory upgrade. 1 ton diffs and spring package, ya know if you have a 1 ton if there is a inspection / fill plug in the diff cover.
Door still rates at 10, 000 lbs.
I pull a 35 ft 5r Rv, don’t even know it’s back there.

I bought a 2017 F 250 6.7 in 2021. It was cherry only 48, 000 miles. By far the best truck I have ever owned. Pulls like a bull, and is nice inside. Mine is stock, and I still love it.

I have a ‘19 f350 I ordered and had it built, only prob was the death wobble that started at 7k miles.. barely was able to fix it completely 4yrs later and I had to go completely aftermarket… one thing I wish it had was the larger screen like the new ones, other than that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my truck

Picked up a 2017 lariat ultimate with 85k miles for $46k. It’s absolutely amazing. I tow a 8, 000lb trailer for camping all summer long and it’s my daily driver. Luckily I commute about 40 miles and I can get her nice and warm when I’m not towing. I’ve had 1 glow plug go bad and that’s it. Change your oil, fuel filters and run a cetane fuel additive and they’re run forever. I’m gonna keep this truck as long as I can.

Have a 2015 F250 Platinum SB 4WD just hit 260k miles, deleted at around 140k. Just now having some transmission issues so its time to look at buying a new truck! Market is high right now sadly. Good review, been looking at 18+ Powerstrokes!

Nice overview. Got my '17 F350 CC LB 4WD in '19 at 17k miles, moving up from a '06 F350 6.0L. Its a Lariat and simliar to yours with airflow in/out mods, which mpgs increased. On those battery hold-down brackets, i went twice hitting them with paint only to find them corrode again. I sanded them and put two coats of Raptor Liner, with a thin layer of butyl rubber pad between the bracket and battery - 18 months later, no corrosion and now pushing 55k miles. The truck mod bug is always itching with this thing, due to options and typical PSD paranoia of preventing "failure" points. I use HSS EDT and HSS LX4 lubricity formula each fill-up, to offset any CP4 sadness.
