Sounds like an engineering problem. Make an engine that doesnt do that.

Im sure there are times where thats a problem but something else generally would have to be wrong for that to cause oil dilution. Engine hours of any kind cause eventual wear.

The air fuel mixture is way way lean in diesels when not under load if operating properly and that problem is largely you change your oil on a reasonable schedule accounting for a vastly larger run time per mile of driving

My work truck is a 6.7 powerstroke and starts in the morning and doesn’t get shut off until I’m home. It runs 12-16 hrs a day mostly at idle. It’s fine. It’s been a good truck. I just change the oil

This is B.S. Wouldn't be a problem if your changing the oil when it suppose to.
