My iphone 7 was restored and I keep it for months. I was surprised when I turn on the iPhone today, it was asking my password which should not be like this because I've already restore it. Then I found your page, I tried this right away. First, it was failed several times. Turns out I haven't update my itunes version. Second, my USB cable is no good (broken), so I had to switch the cable then the restoring could be completed. If anyone wants to try this, make sure your iTunes updated and also your USB Cable still in a good condition. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tips Daniel.
