I can confirm, I have had nothing but trouble with Studio 23, the Ultimate Edition. Won't be spending another penny on Pinnacle Studio anymore. It's a shame because I have been with them as a customer from version one! Countless hours wasted with "technical support" and still the same issue with audio mysteriously going missing once the project has rendered, or audio appearing from nowhere, and super loud!

I just purchased pinnacle 23 ultimate a few months ago, I like it. 10 dollars for the update would be nice, not a 30 dollar discount from 90 dollars or whatever. Still has stability problems, so I think charging that much every year is a bit out of place.

Still using Pinnacle Studio 12 for it's speed and quality when recording the TV via YWR / RGB components.. The last ones takes a longer time to load the app and functions are lost here and there...

I am always having issues with studio 20, with it freezing up, or not showing everything I uploaded in the bin, sometimes it just messing up the final save edit, amonst other random issues. For the most part its easy to use, and reminds me of the old windows movie maker.

What is really the difference between the Version 23 Ultimate and Version 24 Ultimate?
Is there some place where it is comparsion between the old and new Version? I would like to see.

You really need to let us have a demo, I don't want new features if it's the same program with all the bugs from previous versions. You left people high and dry on the audio bug in v23, that's not on.

Is Pinnacle able to create 5.1 surround sound?

I have 22 upgraded to 23 and had nothing but issues: crashes, grey screen circle arrow, timeline zooms in during editing, audio/video tracks would shift several seconds during play back when they were synced up, etc...
Correl was good about "trying" to fix the issues, but eventually gave me my money back and restored version 22.
Still couldn't figure out how to save a project with all the tracks in-place to work on the next day without leaving the computer on overnight . . .
Hope this version is better, I like Pinnacle as it is so much easier to use than other programs.

Has the camera detection been sorted out in the animation section.? None of my cameras can be detected at the moment .

Hi, Help Please, running Ver 15, after import and at the edit page, just a straight playback there is video but NO AUDIO SOUND, have check all vol but not solved. Any suggestion will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Of course I will pay 90€ every year for some minor improvements that you could deliver via a simple update. (I was on your page and checked whats new).
I have v23 and codecs are missing! If I import a file with eac3 audio, I can hear nothing unless I convert it to aac with another converter.
In addition I cant add .ass subtitles and if I add a video with two audio tracks (game and voice recording), it displays both tracks on one after detach audio.

This new version allows to play WAV files does it? Unlike the last version, which only allows mp3s.
