Setting up your project in Pinnacle Studio

I have ordered Pinnacle 26 via Amazon and it should arrive tomorrow. I'm looking forward to start a more modern version of this program than the one I have since 2010. My phone videos of mp4 don't work well in Pinnacle Studio Ultimate, but the new version will. Thanks for this introduction video on how the newer versions work.

i have an older version of pinnacle on another computer . works perfectly . Bought this version of pinnacle ultimate and it won.t recognize my dv camera . I can not believe that this version is that difficult to work .

🤣Please, dear Corel management, exchange your Pinnacle software team, they don't do their job well! And, please, change your marketing philosophy. I have been staying with you since long and in the meantime I have finished many video projects for friends and family. I think, I know what I’m talking about. I started with version 11 and use now version Pinnacle 25 Ultimate, but I swear, it’s my last one. I'm fed up now and I'll change soon to another video software.

I spent hours and hours due to freezing, disappearing title and montage tools, sound which works on the clips itself but suddenly not any more in the timeline. If your software cannot find the preset folder for “Schnappschuesse”, it simply quits its job instead of popping up a warning or using the default setting. There is no professional failure handling at all. The program simply says good bey and disappears. In case of multiple track 4k projects it is awfully slow although my computer is equipped with Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz, Nvidia GeForce 1660 SUPER and 16GB RAM. Rendering happens anywhere, but not where I’m just working on. So, priority-setting is not its favorite.
Corel, your software became too complex for your software people. They lost control. The architecture is simply bad and not capable to do the job well if your program is professionally used.

So, my friendly advice to your marketing people is not to add year by year another “one million” new features which no one has been missing to the next program version, but to work on the stability and performance of the existing program. On the long run that counts more! And that is what actual users expect.

For those of us who have made the mistake of buying pinnacle studio can I just say how useless it is. All of the tutorials are for advanced working. I wish I had seen the many comments elsewhere on the net saying not to buy this. Every tutorial is either very basic features or really advanced. Three days of searching and I still have no idea how to make a f*&%ing Please just put up a basic video showing us HOW TO MAKE A VIDEO!!!! That's what we bought this for. I am being told how to make split movies and how to change my settings. So what. We need to know how to make a
