12:03 I spotted an eagle and randomly decided to try shooting it. Miraculously, I hit it on 1st try. I followed where it had dropped and discovered how frozen ingredients are made, though I could've figured it out on my own if I made my mind work a little. The meat just laid there on the ground for a few seconds, same method as frying food in the volcano region.
Also I should've checked the nearby rocks, it's weird my curiosity didn't drive me to look under them this time...
12:36 Found sleeping ice Keeses. It's weird how you can shoot sleeping Keeses one by one and they won't hear each others' deaths, but if you get too close they will wake up.
