.. when i was young .. and getting my first mortgage.. i was advised that mortage rates go up and down and that i should not take a mortgage that I couldn`t afford if the rate went up. Something has to be done about this. We have managed to claw back sovereignty from the EU. Parliament must now get power back from these non-elected quangos, from civil servants and from the supreme court which effectively makes laws rather than interprets laws made by parliament. Parliament must be sovereign!

What Liz Truss says is clear, what she says is sensible, her enunciation is generally good but her tone, the way she speaks, is dreadful. She needs elocution lessons and then she might stand a good chance of a come back.
