Good for Habib for pointing this bit out.

Do you want repossessions of people's homes? The required rate hike is too high and was caused by government furlough and other borrowing, during the supposed "emergency".

The conservatives will make another promise to deal with illegal immigration and completely fall through on it the truth of the matter is that the conservatives don't actually want to fight the illegal immigration issue way too much of the conservative leadership don't have the care or wherewithal to actually make the legal changes not just to empower the border forces but to properly combat the issue on the legal front and furthermore a lot of the conservative leadership is ideologically apposed to illegal immigration actually being an issue.

I'm sorry but they completely missed the issue of the ideological bent that is held in all levels of police leadership most of the time environmental protesters are handled with kid gloves and there have never been laws that allow people to protest on busy roads infact the police are allowed to restrict protests on roads.

police leadership should be changed and protests on roads should be halted.

Also if i had to wager a guess the reason why the covid loans were written off was because many politicians and ministers have been found illegally claiming them that and i bet there's no money left to claim back.

If anyone blocks the road illegally then someone trying to get to emergency services or work should be able to slowly drive over them without further action by the police.😊

The foreign office told people not to go to Sudan. And now people are complaining that government hasn't helped they should help pay the cost. Risking soldiers lives.😢

My children were all in essential jobs so worked through out the last 3 years, as did many other people. So to say we all sat at home while the government paid us is to much of a generalisation.

As just a legal British citizen I have been thinking. The first thing that happens when a boat is intercepted, the occupants are considered ‘ migrants, refugees, asylum seekers’. Once they are given a label all of the organisations jump in to impose ‘rules. If they were referred to as unlawful entrants we should be able to use laws to detain, and remove them. Make it an offence to enter, attempt to enter or depart with the intention to enter the country. Once they are detained they should be photographed, fingerprinted and have DNA samples taken. And, although it may be controversial, be micro-chipped.

I’m sure there are many people that have thought on this. Recently it was announced that arriving boatloads to be detained for removal from the UK. It was also announced that they would be using former Military camps. Hopefully they will be confined to the camps, unlike those in hotels who are free to wander at will. I wonder how many of them will ‘disappear’ into thin air ?

Smogg: Why I supported Brexit

Personally, I have a hedge fund Somerset Capital Management, managed via subsidiaries in the tax Havens of the Cayman Islands and Singapore. This means I can avoid tax and become ridiculously richer.

I want Brexit because new planned EU regulations are aimed at stopping the behaviour of crony companies like my own. In simple terms, if we remain in the EU I will no longer be able to do what I do in the Cayman Islands and Singapore. I won't be able to satiate my greed and get any more richer.

Secondly, a privatised NHS as part of a UK/US trade deal post Brexit will not bother me because I can afford to pay private medical care and dentistry for myself and my family. Who cares about those that can't?

Thirdly, please stop saying that 'all Brexiteers' cannot justify how leaving the EU will make their own lives better, because I have just proven that 'wealthy Brexiteers' like myself can explain.

Finally, not once have I ever said how Brexit will benefit ordinary working and middle class people, Nigel Farage proliferated that lie, not me.

Thank you, Mr. Rees-Mogg, for articulating my feelings. However, it is shameful that the government has taken this long to seriously address the issue. Politics has been allowed to stymie the will of most of the people of Britain. Ask, Nigel!
I found Ben Habib to be a most informative man. Thank you all.
On the issue of inflation, that was a splendid discussion! With GBNews my feelings are being so well represented.
Regarding the police, they are not enforcing the law. That is their job: they are failing to do their job. That really is the end of the conversation, as far as I am concerned.

Smogg's 'Moral Order Hierarchy is commonly extended in Anglo American culture to include other relations of moral superiority: Western culture over non-western culture; America [and G7] over other countries; citizens over immigrants; Christians over non-christians; the elite over the working class. Incidentally, the Moral Order metaphor gives us a better understanding what #fascism is: fascism legitimises such a moral order and seeks to enforce it through the power of the state.' Lakoff & Johnson.

Immoral. Imperial. Hypocrites.
