As just a legal British citizen I have been thinking. The first thing that happens when a boat is intercepted, the occupants are considered ‘ migrants, refugees, asylum seekers’. Once they are given a label all of the organisations jump in to impose ‘rules. If they were referred to as unlawful entrants we should be able to use laws to detain, and remove them. Make it an offence to enter, attempt to enter or depart with the intention to enter the country. Once they are detained they should be photographed, fingerprinted and have DNA samples taken. And, although it may be controversial, be micro-chipped.

I’m sure there are many people that have thought on this. Recently it was announced that arriving boatloads to be detained for removal from the UK. It was also announced that they would be using former Military camps. Hopefully they will be confined to the camps, unlike those in hotels who are free to wander at will. I wonder how many of them will ‘disappear’ into thin air ?

No part of the green belt should be touched when there's so many empty offices, with parking spaces that could be used instead.🤬🤬🤬

Love how JRM firstly asks the shrill Just Stop Oil spokeswoman to firstly stick to the actual topic and then points out that "if you just talk we're going to get nowhere"! I can imagine he's very apt at dealing with his teenaged children!

100% agree that Section 24 is very bad for tenants as well as landlords, it’s simply adds to the overall cost of having a roof over one’s head. No other business in the world cannot (fairly) claim their costs. Landlords selling up, and a shortage of rental supply. It turns out possession is no longer 9/10 of the law, we are basically being told what to do as landlords, as if we don’t even own the property.

What's going to happen should the CO2 level in the atmosphere drops to 0.03%? 🤔

The human rights lawyer: what is he on?!? Are we seriously supposed to donate money out of our tax to help Albanians start up businesses back home so they *don't* try to illegally enter the country again...????
