The thing is not if its prohibited, because almost in every religion its prohibited. The thing is: what do you do if someone doesn't want to follow the rule? Do you ban them from society? Prison them? Throw them from the roof? Or leave them alone to be who they want to be? That's the question needed to be asked when discussing a religion/country dealing with homosexuality, not the dry rule, but the practices towards them.
