This man was nicknamed 'pol pot' by Maoists early on, it is short for 'political potential', he got involved with the french communist party in the 50's and later imposed these ideas on Cambodia, where he relocated the urban population onto farms and persused an egalitarian society. His murder of political opponents, coupled with malnutrition and poor medicine killed millions.
