Daemon Princes or Exalted Daemon lords, which is better? - Total war Warhammer 3

I share with you my opinion on which lord option I consider to be better between daemon princes and exalted daemons.

Another thing to remember about some of the exalted lords (LoC and Bloodthirster, IIRC) is that they have a blue line skill that increases local recruitment slots

I find it so funny that the Bloodthirster of Khorn has a whiph, it's like the dude said "Boss we need some form of ranged attack to deal with those sorcery fucks!" and Khorn sighed and gave them a weapon to grab from far away. Putting a chain on the axe would have been coller but what can you do

One point for Slaanesh, is that the Keeper is better at dealing with single targets, while the Prince is better at dealing with basic infantry. But same as with Khorne, dealing with infantry isn't really all that difficult, and you can do it with basic units very efficiently. However, his red skill line being more defensive is actually a bonus, as that's where Slaanesh falters most in general. You can argue that boosting the focus of the faction is better but there's also a point to be made about compensating the issues of the faction. Plus you need an anvil for those sweet hammer and anvil tactics. Ideally I'd have a army of warriors with the Prince to hold and then accompany it with the Keeper with the shock units.

Awesome video, Cultist! I think I'm going to stick to Exalted Lords of Change for that sweet, sweet pink fire. But you make a really good case for the Daemon Prince of Nurgle, I never thought about the usefullness of flight in the slow roster.

It is really owful to see that Demon Princes are better then the exolted demon in the monogod factions.

What about Undivided Demon Princes though. Are they better than a Chaos Sorcerer Lord? I mean their skill to increase exp for undivided lords is pretty good

while i agree with most points about the exalted unclean one i do think blight boil is a excellent spell that is missing from the demon prince and honestly its rare that you would use death spells over nurgle ones anyway, also i think the redline skill on the demon is better than the leadership one, the flight argument is a very valid one however. I would say that overall i prefer the plagueridden lord, he has flight and he has the option of the 3 exclusive abilities.

Didnt know nurgle demon princes also gets the mortis engine effect. That was why I always get exalted GUO. And you dont even have to invest 11 skill points to get it.

The most important point: The princes look in comparison! (except for Tzeentch, that muscle birb <.<)

Don't most of the demon princes have no replenishment skills? Does that make them just not all not worth it? Replenishment is pretty bad for Slaanesh/Tzeentch. Also upkeep reduction is pretty important. It means you field more units/armies. It adds up. Also you did not mention animations, that makes huge difference too.

Exalted Unclean one has Blight boil tho, which is the best nurgle spell

I just did a super long campaign as The Changeling. If your care about boosting units. The Demon Prince/Mortals boost demons better, while the Lord of Change boosts mortals better. If you want a magical gun line a mortal is a great and if you want to Tzeentch them in the face ... a Lord of Change.
