I remember Legend saying he only plays what he wants now and it puts him in a much better mood. You can really tell in this stream that it's just a miserable experience.

The demon prince upgrades being subtle sidegrades is something that might have actually worked if he was baseline competent. Would have made him feel customisable. But hes just not competent and the system doesnt fix that.

I've just discovered, the best way to play daemons is to not even use the demon prince, just recruit any lord and use them instead

I started watching this, wondering how you handled the start of the campaign. I took a bit of a different approach, but managed to pull things together with only a little bit of trouble. So far I've dedicated all my settlements to Khorne, which seems to work well early on. It's around turn 25 and I've eliminated Boris, vassalized Epidemius, and am looking to face Malakai before he becomes too strong.
