I just bought the wired version and I have zero complaints. The sound is fantastic. I used the custom EQ to adjust the bass like I want it, and I hear every instrument being played. The drums sound great, the bass pops, the highs are crisp. I think they are a great value for the price. As far as the parts made of plastic, I don't mind as it keeps the headset light. I play on PC and I do not see these parts being a problem being made of plastic as you are only using them to set on your head, not dig a ditch with them. Handle them respectfully and don't throw them off your head because you are upset and they should last. I have an ex-large skull when it comes to helmets and hats, they fit very comfortable on my head with no squeezing, or ears touching the inside of the cup. When playing different games, I was amazed at how explosions sound. These headphones made a huge difference in sound effects while keeping the voices and music sounding great. It really added a wonderful difference to my gaming experience I didn't have before. I usually spend around $150.00 for my headphones. The extra I paid for these was well worth it. I love they way music sounds when I am listening my favorite songs. I am a guitar player, so I am picky when it comes to EQ balance. I want to hear every instrument. I am very happy with these head phones and recommend them.

I like this guy. He’s very clear with everything he says. And goes into some details other reviewers don’t. reviews don’t feel paid for. I subbed

The difference in the microphone was quite shocking, to be honest. I had no idea the wired one sounded so much better.

I recently bought Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wired and I am blown away by the outstanding sound quality! I Had Sony Inzone H9 for some time, but the sound was disappointing. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The Arctis Nova Pro wired are miles better when it comes to the sound quality.

It's surprising to me how barely anyone is talking about the mic sound quality between the two. I personally own the arctic 3's and they were amazing for the price. It was comfortable, the mic was great, and pretty good sound. The mic quality to me is very important and listening to the wired vs wireless, the wired is crazy better than the wireless. this and the supposedly better sound quality is what got me to buy the wired headset. I also don't care too much about it being wireless as I prefer better audio and mic quality overall. ANC and transparency mode aren't deal breakers as well since my apartment is fairly quiet. Hopefully, sound isolation is good! Great review as well Techne!

The reason the dac is angled like that in the wired version is because more than likely it's going to be on your desk next to you, whereas with the wireless it could be across the room from you. You could have it next to your consoles in an entertainment center while you're gaming on the couch so a straight on viewing angle makes more sense. Probably also why there's no push to mute on the wireless dac.

For me, this boils down more to use case than sound quality and features. You know if you really need a wireless headset or not. Like if you game mostly on PC, I don't think you really need a wireless headset, but it would be great in a living room console gaming environment.

The Bluetooth option is amazing. No need yo pick your phone up as you can take the call on your headset. This is what sold me on the arctis pro wireless

One feature people miss out is the transparency mode. When you play FPS with spatial mode and gain on to listen to people's steps and you turn on transparency mode to talk to someone in the room without pulling your headset off is also a massive plus! You don't yell at them, you don't take your headset off, and you can talk to them and play at the same time.

Thank you so much for covering this! I made a lot of research on the previous Arctis Pro headset but before buying the new series released, thanks for informing me on the new ones as well.

Just got the wireless one, sound is amazing to me . Better then any razer or logitech i had in the past . And the swappable batteries were the mean reason to buy this one . Good job Steelseries !

I went with the wireless version. I will use all the features. The sound quality is very good as far as I can tell. With a little messing with the eq I got a sound that Im happy with. To me the noise cancellation works pretty well for my situation. I always have an ac running in the computer room and it pretty much cuts it all the way out. With it turned off I can definitely hear the fans from the ac. Mic quality is just ok. Not the best but will work. The nub in the ear cups doesnt bother me any. Doesnt even touch. I will replace the ear pads once they are available. Overall Im happy with my purchase. I dont really think you can go wrong with either one. Main thing for me was getting rid of the cable.

When it comes to a gaming headset for me, sound quality is the top priority. Thats why I went with the wired. Even on console the wired sound stinkin 👏 amazing

With the amount of cord aggravation I've had over the years, plus the original Arctis being with me the longest of my last few pairs, I'm heavily leaning wireless. Plus I wouldn't miss anything in calls when I need to step away.

I've used the Artics Pro (PS4), Artics 7p (PS5), and now the Nova wireless (PS5). I can say without a doubt the Nova blows them out of the water

I currently use the Astro A50 gen 4 on my Xbox series x and I love them but I’m intrigued about this new nova pro wireless I was just checking if this was going to be on one of your upcoming comparison videos??? Love watching your videos keep up the good work👍🏻

Wireless for that Bluetooth, using YouTube guides for games I’m playing and taking calls without having to take the headset off is a massive feature for me. I also play on my recliner in my games room so wires are a no go. Shame we have to sacrifice sound quality but hopefully wireless audio gets closer to wired some day soon. I’m also holding out for Astro to drop the gen 5 A50s as currently own the gen 4’s and love them using both Xbox and PS docks but wish they had Bluetooth and better audio over USB.

You literally had a video prepped for the questions I had in your reviews. Great comparison, all I needed to know to pull the trigger on the wired version.

Went with the wired one, despite I was using the Arctis Pro Wireless before. I love Wireless and I am kinda sad to lose that, but if the difference in Sound between wired and wireless is close to the difference of their mics.. than those are two completely different worlds and I need to experience the better sound this time.

For me, i would prefer wired nova pro. Im just a pc gamer and nowhere near the console, and i just appreciate better for the better sounding system where I could enjoy my music as i love to have that punchy bass into my head. Had wired arctis pro, and it’s phenomenal. No idea how the nova wired would sound if it’s even better than the arctis pro.

If you wire the wireless you got the same frequency range like the wired but you got all the wireless functions. But besides that The "normal" hearing frequency range is between 20 Hz and 20, 000 Hz and decrease in the mid twenties quite quick.
