I never played gen 4 games, but I came into that Volo battle completely unprepared. Took me two attempts to beat him alone, then three more to beat him and Giratina. That took a lot of full revives. His theme is now in my liked songs playlist, I drop whatever I’m holding every time. Instant PTSD. I’m on my way to victory road in BDSP, and let’s see if I can oppose Cynthia-

Honestly should’ve realized because doesn’t he throw out a Togepi the first time we fight him. That, the blond hair, and the obsession with the different artifacts and stuff were very obvious in hindsight

Idk why but I also love the fact that when you beat Giratina finally phase it says “You finally beat Giratina” because that was not your typical battle that..was HELL!

and for Volo the moment he sends out Spiritomb you don’t really feel anything until that music hits and then suddenly..you have the worst flashback of your life realizing this is gonna be that but worst.
