ALTO TS312 2000-WATT 12-INCH 2-WAY POWERED LOUDSPEAKER

Truesonic TS3 from Alto Professional: Expectations Exceeded.
The new Alto Professional Truesonic TS3 Series does everything you demand in a no-compromise family of professional loudspeakers. These speakers solve every performance and installation challenge you have. They are high-performance in every sense: Their new transducers and amplifiers enable them to play extremely loud and clear, without compromise or restriction. And they are “high-performance” from a concept and manufacturing standpoint—we made sure that every aspect of their design outperformed what it had to do. The end result are loudspeakers that achieve a level of excellence and refinement that defies expectations. Defies your expectations.

There are four models in the new TS3 range: The TS308, TS310, TS312 and TS315, with 8-10-12- and 15-inch woofers respectively. The range shares a new 2000-watt peak (1000-watt continuous) amplifier.

These models boast all-new low-frequency drivers, designed to play louder and handle more power than their already-impressive predecessors, the wildly-successful TS2 Series. They also have a new horn-loaded high-frequency driver. This impressive transducer has a brand-new heat sink design that provides exceptional heat dissipation for impressive power-handling, even at all-night-long concert levels. Because these new drivers can safely handle the additional power, the TS3’s take full advantage of the increased wattage and will play at higher SPLs with lower distortion.

We’ve even made the TS3’s easier to use, with an updated control panel and clearer control indications and detents that make for a faster, more precise setup. 2000 watts of bi-amplified power, newly-designed drivers and easier, more satisfying controls and setup—the new TS3 range doesn’t merely meet your requirements. It makes you re-think what’s possible.

4 month ago, I finally bought these speakers - Alto 12 inch - after so many events, I decide to give you my feedback. I don't use my 15 inch EVs anymore. These small boxes are fantastic, so we will purchase 4 more. Thanks for your advice and keep the good work.

Yes this is a incredible buy, i have used many powered speakers and these are really something and half the price of most, i have dialed them in nice, they project well not to much low end for a live band mix

I heard good things, and discussed the brand with an expert.

i was upgraded from the 8" to the 12" and convinced I would ace the low end.

1st unit arrived DOA, and 2nd unit lasted about an hour at 25%. No where even close to peaking. I was in my 10x10 office so 25% was more than loud enough, then after an hour of mixing the tweeters gone.
Controller was set to 0DB and bass was set on controller to 40% because I have a sub hooked up behind the speakers.

In 15 years, we've never blown a speaker. To have 2 of these fail in a week was alarming.

Can't recommend Alto brand.

A great sounding speaker when it worked however.

Hello,

From the sound demo and the size of the unit, it offered clear sound.
Even add a sub and wow even better sound.
Yep it's time to upgrade to lighter speakers.
The only thing, class d systems are harder to repair and as a tech I've seen many a board changed out just for fast turn around.

On the plus side of class d speakers yeah they are much lighter for transporting them about as older powered speaker with heavy transformer chassis added weight.

Hi there I just got ts415 brand new. Both line levels on audio interface are at same position. But one speaker is louder than other. Both line levels on back of alto are at 12 o clock too. But one speaker is quieter then the other. Cheers

Hello, when I daisy chain floor monitors, the audio level varies in each speaker. What could be the issue?

Is this enough power for 15 m2 room? Or is it to much loud?

Trying to decide between this ALTO monitor or the TurboSound M10 Milan. Any thoughts as far as ruggedness or reliability? Sound? Value?

I've had a pair of passive, 15-inch Yamaha Club Series III speakers for over 20 years. Used them at weddings and corporate parties. They sound great, but now I'm ready to go with a pair of powered speakers so I don't have to haul a separate amp. How do these Altos compare with my old Yamahas? My wedding crowds rarely have more than 200 people. Thanks, and great video!
