Sounds a lot warmer when hearing it for real. Just had a secondhand 314e in my hands and is was stunning for the price asked.

If you’re more of a Martin guy or gal I love my dread junior, all solid wood and great Martin tone

I have 314 for two years and it's awesome. It sounds like "Oh my God, is this for real?" It resonates so that you feel it by your own body. Very good balance of frequencies, very comfortable to play. And yes, I think it's best choice if you want to buy a good quality guitar for many years. I use strings recomended by Taylor - Elixir HD light 13-53. It have a good balance of gauge. First 3 strings is strong to more resonate, and 3 bass strings is not so heavy, so it make playing very easy and comfortable. I have no problem with the neck and truss rod, and no problem with tuning at all frets.

Remember! No one video review can give you a full understanding how it really sounds! Just common vision. So if it's possible, go to guitar shop and try different guitars to find a best for you.

I'm happy with my Taylor 314. And I hope you guys find your dream guitar. If it's has not happened yet :)

I’ve never been a Taylor guy, mainly just because I like guitars to say something to me visually too (I’m sponsored by Gibson and Epi, which both have a lot of guitars that look really good as well as sound especially the old ones). But someone just offered one of these to me, and as boring as it may look it sounds undeniably great. I’m calling the guy. Thank you guys 👍.

Is this guitar also good for fingerpicking?

Great review. Would you ever consider reviewing the 2017 Yamaha. Ac3r?

Doesn’t sound too bad (I find it a little too strident in the treble) but I’m a Guild man now. I’m even trying to trade my Takamine 12 toward a Guild 12

Nice demo. What string guage do you recommend for this Taylor 314?

Here a the problem for me with these demos. Obviously this gent can play, but he is so used to playing with other instruments that he picks behind the sound hole to add treble to his sound in order to cut through the mix. I only bring this up because it is typical of these demos. Wish they would do some strumming in different positions.

How's the action on this guitar? And does it have that annoying fret buzzing?

Is two grand considered a good price for premium acoustics? That's terrifying.

What is the difference between this product and taylor 314 ce? (without shape)

No cutaway is the best. I don't know why many brands insist in the cutaway as the most common in their models, being the non-cutaway the exception. For me it should be the opposite

Nice guitar, but I could get an all solid wood and all gloss simon and patrick for cheaper
