The problem with this movie was that the Yagers moved more like transformers in this movie than yagers from the first Pacific Rim movie

I love that he didn’t care about the people inside the building when the missiles hit it, and chose to save small number of people on the ground.

If they just took Obsidian Fury as the main antagonist and have him basically hunt down Yeagers and showing that he's still superior in like a 2v1 fight, raising the stakes that way would've made the movie so much better.

I love the power issues they suddenly had, back in the day I don't think that was much of a problem, they used to lift kaiju which I'm sure weighed far more than a helicopter pad
