This movie is my absolute favourite in terms of action fight between huge things. The amount of details, the effort, the CGI, the horeography... Simply brilliant. I love this movie! Which is why I collected the scenes I like the most to show you guys.

The way they delivered: "Category 5. The first one ever." really sets the huge tension of power scale. Uprising just ditched it entirely with no tension at all.

3:24-3:26, if you look closely at the hand that's holding the sword, you can see that it slightly opens from the sheer amount of power it's taking too hold up that one arm so it would go through the Kaiju. Almost like on monkey bars when you're about to lose your grip so you hold on stronger. Really great detail.

The way Gipsy Danger kills both lesser kaiju with one arm reminds me of Optimus Prime's final stand against Sentinel and Megatron. Giant robot with one arm and a melee weapon never fails.

Pacific rim actually felt like an actual movie while Uprising was more like a video game with odd physics that didn't match the first film tone

The way the Jaeger move his arms feels very mechanical and heavy, even though they are underwater...
Nothing like this yellow ninja jaeger in the sequel, that somehow manage to makes his 7k tons of steel do some karate jumping spinning kicks...

0:49 l find it funny how no one answers Chuck when he asked how they were supposed to deliver the bomb.

I love the detail when Gipsy and Striker get released from the helicopters; Striker immediately starts walking without any sign of unstableness, due to Striker being a mark 5. While Gipsy, she stumbles a little and has to take a moment just before she gets stable, due to her being a mark 3. And them walking through the water, Striker was much faster on the surface and on the floor. Just a very slight yet amazing detail that makes the movie perfect.

I love how Striker and Gypsy march side by side into the abyss like an almighty tag team. They're the last Jaegers remaining, the fasted and most advanced Jaeger and the most well equipped Jaeger walking straight into the mouth of hell.
