The fact that Marinnet (ladybug) is a "good stylist" (the show tries to gaslight us into thinking she's good at it) AND HER OUTFIT COULD BE ANYTHING SHE WANTED BC ITS HOW IT WORKS AND SHE HAS THE WORST ONE OF ALL OF THEM

The most annoying thing about 7ds and Elaine is that King got an adult form, but she never did. Your rendition of her is probably the closest thing we'll ever get, sadly, and I think it's perfect, because you chose not to change her into just another busty character like the rest of the cast.

the ladybug redesign would benefit greatly from some neon elements to match the chat noir redesign. You could maybe incorporate them as pink to broaden the pallete a little more too. This redesign makes ladybug look like a sidekick and I didn't really notice until you put them both on screen at the same time. Either way it's miles ahead of the original design. the other two are bangers and essentially perfect. Good job!

the worst part about elaine is that there was ample excuse to age her up later in to the series. the way more powerful faries work in the seven deadly sins is that to reach their true potential, they have to awaken their full fairy wings, which comes with a massive boost in overall combat capability (around 4-5 times) and both her and her brother, king, who is one of the sins, both manage this in the later seasons. and why do I mention this? KING AGES UP ONCE HE AWAKENS HIS WINGS!! AND WHY DID SHE NOT?! I COULDN'T TELL YOU! Ban and elaine are just one of the creepy relationships in the seven deadly sins, and most of the main pairings are between a person who looks like a child, and an adult, not to mention meliodas' personality (think mineta) and what gowther is implied to have done to the explosion girl and got off Scot free from. that show is a clusterfuck of odd/questionable writing choices... at least i hear the sequel series is better in that regard...

I heard somewhere that in seven deadly sins, fairies who have wings are adult's and those who don't are still technically kids, that entire relationship ban is in with her is a major yikes but since this is coming from the same anime in which a grown man called a baby his woman I wouldn't be surprised

For ladybug it would be more flattering on her if the belt was higher up instead of low rise because it just doesn’t fit the body type and makes her feel square ish

cat noir's glowup is insane. if they ever made a spinoff where it takes place in the future, they should use those suit designs

The mangaka definitely meant for Elaine to look like a kid and not just a petite woman, she was straight up mistaken for a little kid by Ban when they first met, so people can't even argue that she's just a short, petite woman lol. And then when she and her brother's wings grown in and they get more mature forms she barely changes while her brother ends up actually looking aged up.

There's also another character, Merlin, who's introduced as a super hot woman and it's later revealed that that's not her true form and she's actually physically a kid.

my answer for your question is a lot of times these " older " beings are drawn like a child to capture the youth. as well as to say this person hasn't matured yet. if you noticed most if not all of them tend to act very bratty or childish until they get pushed to the point they change the voice and then they look scary. on top of that.. which is easier to play off being immortal. a child or a full grown adult? as the child you can get everything handed to you.. as an adult your would be stuck working forever. but that kind of my way of thinking it. its just to show that they are trying to capture their youth for as long as possible. just like in some anime where they take on a chibi form because they are to strong otherwise.

Alright since I know more lore than you there's actually a part of the show that explains there's a (really dumb excuse) "magic spell" that keeps them from knowing each other's identities while transformed.

The funny thing about the eye mask that heroes work is that it will probably work since most characters that have the mask are soo boring that you will never suspect them.
