The Bake Off is back! So we're back! First up is Cake week, and it sees us making Malt Loaf, the chewy squidgy cake, with some homemade butter on the side. A simple bake to start with, but it tastes oh so good!

I look forward to your series every year, accompanying the GBBO episodes. I especially like that you're using your monthly box tools to do this bake! I've made homemade bagels before and some recipes call for malt extract in the water when you boil the bagels prior to baking them (I've done it with malt extract and they come out great). I can't believe you stuck that whole spoonful of the stuff in your mouth, LOL. I'm very much looking forward to each and every upcoming episode. Happy Baking!
