I have grown tomatoes for some 40 years. I am what you might say obsessed with them. I have a seed collect of over 10, 000 varieties and have created several of my own. It warms my heart to see a young person show such an interest in tomatoes. Folks this girl has done her homework. I have enjoyed many of your videos and look forward to more. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to get it right and passing along the right information to others. If I were your dad i would be one proud papa. God Bless & Mater On!

Jess it’s so funny to watch videos from 5 years ago and hear the difference in younger you and a little bit older wiser you. Motherhood, your farm and life has turned you into a healer. I’ve watched all the recent videos so I’m watching all of the older ones now. I listen to you while I do my morning garden chores. And each time you bless me I tear up a little, don’t know why. Made me think I was pregnant one time, I was like why am I crying over this? Wasn’t pregnant though 😅👍🏼

Thank you for all these videos, I literally can’t get enough.

Best tomato feast of my life: 60 years ago my siblings and I got off school and went home. Mama seemed extra frazzled, but sweeping her hair back with a tomatoes hand, she announced, “I have just canned my last jar full of tomatoes, and I have no more jars. You kids scurry on out to the tomato patch and eat your fill, as I don’t want to waste those tomatoes.” We rushed out to her tomato plot, about 40 feet square, sat down and ate our way along the rows. Best tomato haul ever. This was in Pleasant View, Utah, about 1963/1964. I have grown tomatoes almost every chance I get, and I’m still growing them, broken-backed, on my kitchen counter in a small hydroponic garden my son bought me for a “ love” gift a few years back. Tomatoes fresh off the vine is still my favorite way to eat them.

I have been gardening nearly all my life. This video is 3yrs old and I've watched every year, even experienced growers can glean nuggets of info. I really appreciate Jess as she shows The Good The Bad and The Ugly of gardening.

I have zero attention span and I could listen to you all day.
Thanks a bunch, I am off, like everyone else it seems, to grow a garden.

I always rewatch this video whenever i feel like I'm doing something wrong with my tomatoes. I got into gardening around 3 years ago when i was 16😊. Same as you, i didnt really understand why people garden since we can buy most of the stuff that grows from starts from home depot. But now I'm really passionate about gardening ❤. It's rare for people in my generation to value plants and nature but you always make it seem so relaxing and calming. Thank you for being my inspiration 🤗

I thought I had watched all of Jess's videos. This is one I hadn't and will look for others not seen.
She is a great inspiration for gardening as well as life in Jesus Christ.

What a delightful young woman. And she knows her stuff! Mum must be very proud. Her beautuful healthy face is testament to her teachings regarding her food crops. I'm from Australia and we do have some tuff country women as well. Keep up the good work. You are or should be an inspiration for lots of young girls. Maureen, .

Jess here in the U K we have a long established gardening programme called Gardening World hosted by Monty Don. He is brilliant....but you take this subject to another level.

Your vocal delivery without an Autocue is unbelievable, how do you do it?. He (Mony) rambles on, God bless him, You, however, adhere the watcher to the screen and it is information complete without you looking away from the camera.

Your delivery is rapid. You are ripe for the TV screen, easy on the eye, intelligent, factual, it comes across that you know your stuff.

I guarantee that if you were hosting a British TV gardening show it would rock right to the top.

Or, you could become a supermodel and WOW the entire globe with your fantastic looks.

I think you could accomplish both these things and I think you are beginning to realize just that.

 You are so natural.
