That is a super useful thing to get started in game deving, start with an existing sprite that the style you like, and then transform it to make it your own. Its the fastest and eaiest way to get started.

Good video but why has nobody complained about the format these websites use? Spritesheets can't directly be used in GIFs and require processing in order to even use. Why store them this way?

Bro it would have been S tier app, but it's B tier cause they but freaking background on the sprite sheets so if you wanna use them you'll have yo delete the background and the sprite end up looking like ass

this is kinda a lie, yes there are some sprites, but only some and very often there are some missing, basically you can find only of very popular games but rarely all of them
