Traditionally there are two ways to animate. Straight Ahead and Keyframing. In this class we explore what these styles are and when you might find each one most useful.

As a person with ADHD I have to watch the clip many times to process in my mind, but your videos are very straight to point and make me understand compared to other youtubers. I mean the graphics and explanation are very OP.

I love this series. It's a great introduction to animation.
I wonder if anyone's doing the homework assignments to this course and how a complete newbie would fare in doing these exercises.

I love that you give some neat homework at the end of each of your I am doing 3d animation myself, but still find all these lessons highly applicable to 3d.

When i was a beginner I would Do Straight Ahead and Man!
I would draw for hours on every frame and the characters were continuously Shrinking and enlarging. And I was tired af But later on I discoverd Pose to Pose and it is a pretty good method

Currently experimenting with both techniques throughout animations. You can definitely see the difference when you go back and test the animation. Using both helps with picking out what flows well and what doesn't and allows for you to go back and make any changes that might need to be made! Great video, very helpful!

While I don't do the homework right now, I am planning to once I get a software for it, and I'm probably going to begin taking notes tomorrow
