This view would have been keeping with the times about 20 years ago, but now. Stem cell research has moved for that matter science has advanced so much with Human genome project. Going back just because of ethical reasons will not justify the move back. There are so many ways of circumventing and obtaining pluripotent stem cells, just for the sake of knowledge if not for the benefits of the research.
