Thanks for video. Two things.
1. When exporting to .fbx you can toggle that little button next to "scale" parameter. That way you'll have nice
(1, 1, 1) scaling in Unity.
2. I suggest to bake rotation on X axis in blender and work on rotated object transform in it. When working on not rigged objects it couses virtualy no overhead in blender and removes this pain-in-the-ass -90 degree rotation in Unity.

Or you can choose 3D modeling app that allows to work with +Y up and +Z forward axes. For me Blender is great.

the lamps are also used in cycles, i use them all the time :) but these days using a hdri image for the lighting is alot more common and alot better!
