Everyone says mourning doves were nostalgic, and I agree, I heard them all throughout my childhood, but they didnt go anywhere! They're always here, making the same sounds they always have been.

I used to have a Mourning Dove nest right outside my bedroom window. Everyday I would hear that beautiful call.

Waking up to a dove call is literally one of the most satisfying and relaxing ways to wake up, imagine getting into a deep sleep or having a terrible nightmare and you suddenly wake up to a dove.
