The Grade 1 Sorcerer is considered the backbone of jujutsu society, and in this video I will be scaling and ranking EVERY character relevant within this rank. Official grade 1 sorcerers, semi grade 1's, and even those recently recommended to hold that will be ordered from weakest to the strongest!

Maki can hardly be considered anything less than Special Grade at this point. She took down nearly double digit grade 1 sorcerers simultaneously, while injured, and after having fought dozens of lower grade sorcerers and curses. She later goes on to heal from nearly fatal internal bleeding in less than 5 minutes. That's even before she fully awakened. She's solidly Special Grade at this point, while still not Gojo level.

Megumi is such a weird character for this list because his position really fits but if you account for suicide as part of his ranking he could be top of this list easily by summoning Maho.

Inumaki’s kinda getting the Jogo treatment, his 3 fights are against one of the four special grade sorcerers of his era, a special grade curse that was only taken out by Gojo, and a semi first grade curse that attacked when he was most vulnerable and still a first year in training

So to underline and add to the Kusakabe's ranking, since I completely agree. Mei Mei is shown to have INCREDIBLE analytical skills. Be it (as canon as it is, I would say it is but others might argue it's not) her figuring out the curses domain early in season 2, her understanding of the Small Pox Deity and more, her comparing Yuji to Kusakabe almost feels like an objective narrator. Like I would say Kusakabe probably is around Yuji's level when he fought Choso which, is pretty damn strong for a Grade 1 if you ask me.

I always felt like Kusakabe is a insanely skilled sorcerer that is just held back by his inner potential and obviously his attitude.
I feel like bro has mastered jujutsu as a power system to its max and knows and can executr everything he can know and do, and now has hit his limit that he simply can't surpass due to lack of potential.

If you gave each sorcerer the power to rival Gojo effectively replacing Gojo in JJK, how do you think each sorcerer would use that power? To put it simply, if you gave each sorcerer the same level of power as Gojo while keeping how they are as a character in JJK the same, do you think they’ll do a better job than Gojo at keeping the peace or would they just bring ruin? We all know what’s Geto doing. What’s Mei Mei, Kusekabe, Nanami, Todo, Naobito, Naoya, Mai, Momo, etc doing?

Man, I forgot that Nobara hit a black flash early on in the story. That + her OP cursed technique (techniques that work on the soul are generally really strong in the series), makes me realize she was really a genius
