Christian D. Furman, M.D., MSPH, AGSF, Professor of Geriatric & Palliative Medicine; the Margaret Dorward Smock Endowed Chair in Geriatric Medicine; Health and Aging Policy Fellow (2022-2023); and Medical Director, Trager Institute/Optimal Aging Clinic at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, presented "Health and Aging Policy from Washington, D.C." at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on March 28, 2024.

Dr. Furman's talk focused on discussing recent health and aging policies from Washington, D.C., describing the Health and Aging Policy Fellowship, and reviewing the need to improve end-of-life care in the nursing home.
