How to process multiple files in Power BI (and optional advanced options!!)

Processing multiple files in Power BI is a very common request and this can be easily accomplished with a built-in connector. However, what many people don't know is you can take this further and return the most recent file the last 5 files or you can return only csv files with a certain naming convention, there are a lot of awesome capabilities here and we discuss them in this video!!

What to do if you don't want to combine the files but instead bring them in as separate tables?

TIP - if you want load just one, latest file, after desceding sort you dont have to use option 'Keep top rows'. By default PBI will upload first file. Of course if you use 'Binary' - open file, not 'Combine' option.
