Beautiful end of the day. Can’t decide if the walks are better first thing in the morning or as the sun is setting. Both are just great. You had company this trip. You should have introduced us. Good that you take someone with just in case. Fantastic ruins and peaceful resting place. Was wondering if these are places you have been before or are we experiencing your first visit with you? Maybe you can tell us as we walk. Thanks for my daily walk 🚶‍♀️ and history lesson. 🧚‍♂️💗

You can feel the peace of that graveyard, so very old. I really like the old iron crosses. Beautiful place for eternal rest. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful tile floor in that church, and one of the graves was almost 250 years old - amazing!

Thank you Sue, that was so interesting. The two Medieval graves were the first I've seen like that outside, with the upside down sword representing the cross. The church looks like it had fire places and it's understandable in the Winters you have in Ireland. This history is amazing. 💕🇦🇺

Very nice Sue. Just what I would imagine an Irish churchyard would look like. I feel the peace, the quiet. The warmth of the sun. Everything felt happy. Thank you again.

i think this graveyard has its charm, for being not able to read many stones Sue xxx

The tiles in the church are beautiful. This is such a serene setting. I'm fascinated to know if the white coat on so many of the stones is caused by wind carrying sea water moisture from the Irish Sea. I'll have to find out.

There's another shadow there behind you ... I'm guessing someone you trust and not some wayward Irish Spirit? LoL
Seriously, thank you so much for going to all of these beautiful locations and sharing them with us ❣️❣️❣️
Ps I'm very into the medieval times, and especially love it when you find those graves and churches etc

These churches were built so well, makes me sad to see them falling apart, when the church gets abounded so does the graveyard 😢🦋☘️🌹🇺🇸

It really upsets me when I see something as old & precious as this place just fall into wrack and ruin. The grass is obviously mown, but the church & tombstones need a lot of work before it’s too late. Should start a go fund me account when you get more subscribers. The donations could go toward restoring fallen soldiers, babies with no headstones & other people of note. Because once it’s gone, it’s gone for good .😿💜🇦🇺
