Two of the modern muscle cars face to face drag race,Dodge Charger SRT vs Dodge Challenger Scat Pack ,top speed ,acceleration and drag race.

The Challenger on stock tires came out of the water box with wet tires and staged. Charger obviously on very large street slicks did a somewhat proper burnout and staged with decent tires. A little past the 60' you can see the front end of the Challenger drop and not rise again, no traction and got out of it a little. Thats the race right there. Had the Scat Pack at least run dry tires he would have won by the length of his holeshot. Slicks on the Challenger and it it walks the Charger with a holeshot like that.

Looks like the challenger jump out in front, then missed a gear. Would have been a fair race if the challenger would have also been a srt. They do have a lot better suspension.

If both were on the same tire, Challenger would have took the win since it’s 200lbs lighter. Also the scat pack challenger is rated for a 12.5 quarter mile with a perfect hook anyways and this one in the vid ran a 13.5 since it was on a stock tire

Automatic transmision on the Charger and a STD on Challenger, thats why he loose. Because he start almost 1 half second earlier.

I have a Scat Pack Charger. I do not have any plans of ever going to the strip but I do have plans on whipping some cars asses at the red light in Mexico. Should I put a wider tire on my car? I’m currently sitting on the stock tires.
