I only intervene to park. A lot of people take over when they aren’t sure Tesla can get the job done, but if you allow it, it does a good job every time.

He lost me a lidar. Humans can drive without lidar so we know it's not needed. The intervention every 13 is a botch job by a hack independent tester. The real number is around 200-300 miles I believe and keeps getting higher with every release. Some people are driving a week without an intervention. My coworker has it and says it's definitely not 13 miles but once in a while. The latest release of ASS is actually FSD (limited to parking lots) that's not far from allowing it to drive on it's own. At this point more people are being hit by human drivers in parking lots than Autonomous Teslas.

Seriously, screw Waymo. How are you comparing Tesla FSD to Waymo limited performance? Waymo is a puppet on a string. It can drive down a fully mapped road and if something happens, a remote human driver takes over. THAT is NOT !!! autonomous self deriving. You know hat is? Being able to drive on unmapped roads without a human.
