Dr. Fung is correct! My ex husband was a surgeon and we went on trips, cruises, attended fancy dinners and theater tickets....all paid for my pharmaceutical companies I could NOT believe it. Then they would send their Reps who dumped a lot of medication samples on our office. We could not give them out fast enough because the Rep would be back with another load of samples in less than two weeks. This lessened as the years went by. He only prescribed what he liked, however and now lives abroad. I do not take any medications for this reason and if I ever have to it will be short term. I prefer alternatives...I am a nurse.

I lost faith in doctors a long time ago. I believe you must do your own research now n make your own change.

I just go to the Doctor for a check up and if anything is wrong I treat it myself naturally.

This is over generalization. Pharmaceutical companies are struggling to find doctors to come to these educational dinners. Where new drugs are presented to them than it is up to the doctor to prescribe the new drug or the old drug. Many many times the new drug is safer. Do you as a patient want safer drug.
