When used with statistical data, stories are an incredible persuasive tool that can help us as humans decide what to believe in a world that is otherwise incredibly over-saturated with information.

Every person in the world has a critic snapping at their heels, regardless of the originator's intent. Your comments prove my point. Your story expressed here helps the world understand you just a little bit better. Those of which you speak may be attempting to offer their view of the world, or simply relating what science and study have identified. What are you selling? Now you have on at your heels.
