How to fix CS2 random crashing on AMD GPUs

I was told that you should reset GPU Shader Cache, Play Native instead of 4:3, lower graphics settings and dont OC your GPU... BUT not a single thing of those helped at all.
In a single game I had 4 crashes in a row on 7900XTX.
After I changed the API from DX11 to Vulkan, I hadnt a single crash.
The con about it is that this API in CS2 isnt completed which means slightly lower fps and in the buy menu sometimes you might get some fps drops.
Other than that its perfect.
There is a probability that Newer AMD GPUs dislikes DX11.
And it might be true because in Wow Dragonflight Im getting more fps in DX12 than in DX11.

Thank you for this. This crash in particular is hard to deal with, especially when, for Faceit you are banned after 4 minutes of leaving a match. I have the same card as you, and look forward to this launch option.

AMD 5000 and 6000 Series have weird "optimizations" for DX11 that aren't quite...optimal.
In order to remove them you would either install AnWave and do a custom install with legacy dx11 or regedit these after a restore point.

Registry Key & Values:

D3DVendorName : atidxx64.dll
D3DVendorNameWow : atidxx32.dll

In both instances you should change the final two lines of each key.
