America’s Immigrant Warriors | Policy Stories

Immigrants have been an essential component in America’s victories over its adversaries since the nation’s inception. Examples of immigrant bravery span the centuries, from the Civil War, through the First and Second World Wars, to the recent war in Afghanistan. False narratives about immigrants’ ability to assimilate to American life ignores the reality of immigrants’ great patriotism.

Fascinating data, little known to so many of us. As a second generation American, I can see so much of what u say in the old photos of uncles and my Dad in the uniforms of WWII US military forces as first generation Americans, thx for doing this.

I think it would be wise for your team to do a panel discussion on this topic since the conversation around this in our media has been politicized without remorse. I wish I could hear more about this and hear more statistics that show that immigrants are more patriotic than our own citizens in many cases. I think this would do a great deal of good like Jordan Peterson's free lectures. Please continue...

You know the second part of what I heard, and isn't talked about is that the martial heritage of the native-born American population lies in the heavily maligned American South.

No debate here. Just follow the laws of the country and immigrate legally.

these stats are interesting for sure. specifically "The U.S. constitution is the best form of government" Foreigners' approval being 84% vs young natives being 67% I think that's bad if our country's gov appeals more to people with worse governments instead of the people your government is truly for, i.e the natives. I don't entirely disagree yet foreigners' approval of our government in my opinion is probably because our government is better than theirs. Ours being better doesn't make ours exactly "good" it's like a lesser of 2 evils kind of thing.

I'm not racist by any stretch but. Everyone always forget the black people who have built this country and there free labor, blood, Sweat and Tears and them being sold like cattle is the thing that made, America the superpower it is today they weren't asked to be brought to this country and were taken against there will. And the most hated racial groups in this country by both non-black citizens and the United States government alike. I'm extremely disappointed with this video without first bring this known fact up first. Black people volunteered there lives thinking that when they come back from every battle, wars and Conflicts the United States had was gonna treat them like equal Citizens but haven't. Black people enlistments were much higher. You forgotten to bring up those facts. When people makes these videos they always scapegoat the African Americans achievement and alive they have given to this country. Much more than the immigrants have. Please do a video of those things!!!! Buffalo Soldiers, the Tuskegee Airmen who never lost an aerial combat. And may more black warriors and war heros to many to name! My brother went to capital hill when they named an War vessel a few years ago after an African American soldier.

A few questions!

1. Can massive levels of immigration work if a Marxist ideology has been institutionalized in the host country?
2. Does massive immigration not affect wages?
3. Is it true that because immigration worked historically, it must have the same auspicious outcome today?
4. If immigration works so well, why is California such an unequivocal disaster?
5. Why is it that the people who hate this country (NYT, progressives, race hustlers, Pelosi, Schumer, Chomsky, etc) are proponents of massive third world immigration?

My partner is an immigrant, and he is being hammered by large scale, low wage, unskilled immigration. People who read newspapers for a living (theorists) always have a different opinion than those of us in the trenches (practitioners)!

Kane is a theorist, not a practitioner.
