PSA: If you are struggling with the Godskin Noble because he can be a S.O.B!!!! It has been confirmed by the 'Hitless' community that the jump to skip the Godskin Noble and just grab the Somber Stone DOES STILL WORK! So no matter how long it takes, maybe just try and try and try again to get that jump!! I wish you all the luck in the world no matter which path you take! 🙏❤

I'm in the capital at RL31 with +2 dual great stars (cold on one, flame of the redmanes on the other). Just beat Godfrey (the shade) and going to whip Morgott as well. As soon as you possibly can after you start a new game, go to Nokron and get your mimic tear. When you do you should immediately be able to upgrade him to +5 just from running around sofria river well. You're good to go after that. Oh, and doing this does not mean you have to break quest lines as long as you continue to progress them for each area you go through. The potential NPC summons you can get from doing quest lines helps a lot as well.

Nice vid! Actually some good points and explanations, making it different from other similar guides.
A couple of notes tho: I think it would be better to grab Bloody Slash before taking on Mama Greyoll, as it will boost bleed build-up on the katana. Also no reason not to grab the knife from the stormgate ruins for easy access to ash of war applications. And, finally, there's another somber 7 skip discovered instead of the patched bridge jump, but it's super finicky. But, as far as I know, Noble's AI break still wasn't patched. You need to activate the fight, leave, return and stand as close as possible to the fog gate, backstep, do a punch with the left hand, then enter. Wait a couple seconds while staring down on the floor and then go and hack him to pieces. Be careful to not stance break him tho, because it will fix his AI.

I personally like to go to Impassable Greatbridge first thing and go farm the Four-Toed Fowl Foot that is nearby. In which I use all of the runes I acquired from killing the birds and the runes I get from selling the Flight Pinion on certain attributes that I want to increase.

Coming back after a year, I still gotta say that this was really helpful starting off the game. I now usually do the Heavy Iron Ball with cragblade route and get those up to +12 (although I'm experimenting around with trying to collect SS5s and 6s and adding that in before I get to Leyndell). Those things pack insane damage vs. the early bosses even at +12 at RL1. I never actually found the need for the dragonwound grease on Greyoll. Her health is so massive that it's just easier to lean into the bleed procs with a katana or the spiked caestus. I usually attune the katana with Bloody Slash to make it faster, with blood grease on top if you have it. But I guess if you're going for the Somber Weapon, the grease is just there with the SSS9 anyways. For the Godskin Noble, I'm not 100% sure if Assassin's Gambit works for that fight, but in the duo fight, if you use Assassin's Gambit before they spawn and quickly walk back a bit, they won't aggro, and they will investigate where the sleep pots fall and put themselves to sleep. You'd need to kill Bernahl before you join the Volcano Manor for that, but he's kind of a pushover if you know his punishment window anyways (the golden vow he does).

Great guide. We didn't do it all, but it was helpful getting my 8 year old son lvled up to 40 pretty quick. I'm playing too and only 89 but he did it in two days vs my 3 months. Wish I had found it sooner.

The jump does work, if go on the little peg right before the gears and then sprint jump from there and go as far back on the peg as you can to get more momentum

In all my trying I’ve never been able to make that jump for No.7 and the video I watched the lip you have to jump onto looks bigger in the video than it did in my game

For that jump you just take ALL equipment and armor off and it’s not too hard, will still take most some tries but it’s pretty easy naked w nothing at all equipped
