Looks like one would waste a lot of coffee which could have been measured by weight before. Is there an ideal amount of headspace depending on machine irrespective of the preferred dosage decided by weight?

What do you do if you also use a metal filter mesh on top though? Do you still use the razor tool before putting on the mesh ?

Razor tool is simple and brilliant. I dose by volume now, use the Razor tool to get volume correct, then use that level to setup my dose with my scale and then my grinder, via, it's built in timer.

I use a scale and grind setting, so I get the correct amount

What a waste and mess, It's easier to measure the correct amount of coffee (by weight) and use a cheaper/better tool from Amazon
