So if I use loop 2 for my 4 cable method and put a pre amp pedal in one do I still connect my guitar into the Boss? Or does it go into the pre amp pedal?

Help! I’m trying to include an Eventide H9 also in 4 cable in conjunction with the Ms3 (in 4 cable as well). Using loop 3 for the start of the 4 cable extending in and out of the H9 and the rest as you described here in the video. When I turn on Loop 3 I lose my signal completely like a mute. Turn it off and it’s back. I’ve got the H9 set to pre/post. I’ve tried in/out 1 of the H9 into guitar input of the MS3 and in/out 2 of the H9 into loop 3 of the boss as well and getting the same thing. What am I doing wrong?

i wanna be able to have the ms3 in manual mode where i can turn on and off the pedals in the loop by themselves and have all the switches on the ms3 be modulation/reverb. anyone have a idea how to do that?

HELP: Followed this but the delays sound like they are in the background or not as fully present as when using on a clean amp channel and the patch is before the MS3 assigned loop (loop 3). When I move the delay patch AFTER the loop in the signal chain the delay seems to loose a lot of its character.

question as a novice does this mean the overdriven sounds goino into the front of the amp are being returned to the ms-3 and reamplified when it goes back to amp return or have i got this completely wrong

Can you use the MS3 in to just the send and return on amp. Don't want 4CM..

if you dont turn on the loop 3, you hear a clean signal?

Disappointing…should be another send/return for this function, now you can only add 2 additional pedals.

So, you can place effects in, for example, the following order? Distortion/Drives from the MS3 - Amplifier Pre Amp - Time/Modulation effects from the MS3 + EQ + Noise Gate - Amplifier Power Amp?

Hi, can I put in this chain buffer?
It will look like guitar - buffer - input. Send ms-3 - buffer- input (amp)
Return ms-3 - send (amp)
Output ms-3 - return (amp)
I am using now buffer empress with 2 cables connection
