We went on a family dinner with my grandparents at kfc after my little league baseball game 12 years ago. I slipped and fell on a wet floor that had just been mopped. There wasn’t a wet floor sign and my parents were pissed. Even if their was one I probably wouldn’t have payed attention anyways. Just glad it was me and not my grandparents. I was 8. The restaurant was so scared and mad that we might sue. But I was fine and we ain’t like that so we just took their offer of free dinner for all of us. It was worth it and an easy solution I wouldn’t go back and change it even if I could

During the grand opening of a raise n canes restaurant and the place being swarmed with people, my friend had came out of the bathroom and slipped over a wet floor at the door. The floor was clearly mopped but there was no wet floor sign. My friend being a tall guy actually did hurt his back but no one helped him up from the floor despite everyone seeing him fall no one helped not even the staff. We told him that maybe he could sue them but he shrugged it off and said he didn't have any money to pay for a lawyer. I still think he should have sued for at least a smalle settlement

I work as a custodian in a airport. If there's a wet floor sign with in 3 feet of a wet floor, the person that slips can't take legal action against us. Idk if that's true but if you cant see a bright yellow sign, you kinda deserve it lol

My land lord hasn't fixed the gutters so im waiting for the foundation to fail and the place collaps so we can sue. Ive told them multiple times and we cant afford another place so we cant avoid it on our end. They actually also broke a contract with us but my conservator said there really wasn't a case which i find dubious because they've been sure to not raise our rent
