As a die hard lion king fan it’s the complete opposite reaction for me. I definitely recommend looking into the old Disney books made for “ tale of two brothers “ that was the origin of mufasa and scar

I had a feeling this movie would be pretty eh. My expectations were already low when I saw it was "live action" again because of the "live action" remake of the original Lion King. So I'm really not surprised. Sonic 3 is definitely going to be the better movie but I already know Mufasa is going to make a lot of money just because.

If literally watch this and the live action lion king immediately afterwards you will appreciate both movies on another level they co exist even so much to making remarks I watched both bck to bck nd it like how can u not love it you get to see the elephant graveyard before the downfall and so much more inter twine things that in my opinion made it perfectly crafted and put together
