Meghan Markle wasn’t as prepared to meet the queen as she thought she was! The Duchess of Sussex revealed to Oprah Winfrey during her and Prince Harry’s explosive tell-all interview on Sunday that the monarch was actually one of the first royals she met when she and Harry were dating. The introduction happened a bit spontaneously, however, and though Meghan was excited to take such an important step she was caught off guard when Harry asked her if she had one crucial skill – curtsying!

Children all over the world learn royal manners such as curtsies already in elementary school when studying English, German, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, French... language basics and history. Meghan graduated from Northwestern University, ranked #10 out of 443 National Universities of the U.S., as a DIPLOMAT and she doesn't even understand the basics of civilized behavior. She considers the thousand-year traditions of European Kingdoms to be a joke. She is also ready to say that all Americans think on the same way. The Northwestern failed miserably in her teaching. Meghan certainly does no honor to her former school and to the level of its teaching.

There are no obligatory codes of behaviour when meeting The Queen or a member of the Royal Family, but many people wish to observe the traditional forms. For men this is a neck bow (from the head only) whilst women do a small curtsy. Other people prefer simply to shake hands in the usual way.
