We're Taking a Break | VAN LIFE CONFESSIONS

Van Life Confession: We began living in a van to disconnect from the grid and have more quality time with each other and friends but producing these videos every week is taking us away from that intention. So... We're taking a break. We're calling it a Summer Break, a time to have a little fun and focus on being present in the moment. We love the community we've built here and we promise you, we'll be back, refreshed and re-inspired to share our story with all of you.

Keep up with us between videos. During our break we'll still be sharing photos on Instagram, as well as making exclusive videos for our Patrons on Patreon.

This week, we made some finishing touches to the build and then head to a friend's farm for some fun and to test our new oven by making a pizza. We learn a few life lessons along the way and end the video by opening up and sharing with you. We encourage each one of you to do something just for fun this summer! If you're able, get outside! Spend quality time with loved ones and cherish it.

Anyone else feel the need to push a reset button in their life?
The transition from build to travel has been intense for us. We’re saying so many goodbyes and getting ready for years of adventures. We want to be sure we’re making the most of these last moments with friends and family, so we’re taking a summer break from our weekly videos.

We will still be posting some updates and videos on Patreon. We appreciate you for supporting us!

We're encouraging everyone to take their own "summer break" and spend quality time with loved ones or with yourself (quality time alone is also important for your mental health).

My first mediation retreat from too many decades ago, I sat beneath a sign with gorgeous circular Burmese writing that I did not understand. I faithfully kept silence for the ten days. We finally broke silence and I asked its meaning. “When we care for self, we care for others. I'm a Youtuber too, and I wonder yes with the travel folks do they get to just enjoy??? So I get it. Folks don't realize just how friggin long the EDITING of a video takes, you have to watch it and cut and rewatch and cut, and music or zooming in or adding text, it's a laborious process.
