Testing a New Implant Antenna

Warren Kumari...

...was kind enough to send me a prototype of a new biohacker-focused, ferrite core low frequency RFID antenna that's under development and ask me my thoughts about it.

Here's what I discovered when I put it through its paces. Enjoy! 👍😁👍

I do not usually have any trouble READING my LF implant. It works fine with the original antenna, and 99% of door readers. However, I had to get the Harkness coil to reliably WRITE to it. The original just would not cut it. It would be interesting to compare the write performance of the new antenna with the other two.

You did talk about a tool that can do that job you were talking about.
Good thing to know that I wasnt the only one thinking about the silk screen the other way round.

That was pretty cool! Also, I have an XSIID in my left hand that's buried really deep like the one on your right hand. I wish it was closer to the surface since it's really hard to see the light it emits all the way down there. It's cool to see that someone else has it like that too.

Hello, do you have any updates on this antenna design?

I have a NeXT that is WAY too deep and I cannot get any reads on the LF side, much less reliable ones. Writing to it would be a fever dream. I may have set it to Indala26 a while ago, which is harder to find a good reader "in the wild", but am not sure. Very rarely, I get some garbled up data when trying a read.

I tried with my Proxmark RDV2, nothing. Bought an RDV4, nothing. Tried the Harkness antenna, still nothing... :(

It's funny that the HF (NTAG216) works well. Maybe the t5577 is broken?

Yeah I'd love to have and RFID implant but are there any you can turn off without cutting them out?
