Best live version of this song imo. The guitar is finally heard properly as on the album. Other live versions the guitar is not prominent as it is on the original recording. I’d rather Elton be playing a Grand Piano though .

This is fabulous! Thanks for uploading it. I first saw Elton back in 1974, opening night in Dallas, Texas.

What an interesting version of this because he only had Davey with him, and the rest are studio rats. I have to say they must have been sweating this because this tune above all, is the hardest of Elton's to play live, aside from harmony, it is the most played, and a plateau for any musician.

I can't say I've enjoyed this concert a great deal. I don't like seeing Elton facing the audience playing a digital piano. I don't like the spotlight on the backing singers who have the same choreographed move for every song. And despite being very tight, there's little inspiration in watching the band who also seem to be rigidly constrained to play a perfect set every night, no improvising needed, thank you. And of course this is post throat surgery for Elton so I find his lack of range to be sad. And just to be petty, I don't like his yellow suit, the blonde hair or the ridiculous hat.
