It feels so good that the voice actor of Ezreal is also the voice for this videos aswell, it feels like if Riot made extra advanced tutorials and uses Ezreal to teach you.

A destroyed inhib is free pressure that possibly takes one enemy out of the next teamfight. Yes, the scenario where they capitalize on it and obtain free gold exists, but it's a consolation for what is otherwise a disadvantage if your team knows what they're doing.

This advice is true, but situational and framed in a contrarian way.

All I know is I’m low Elo and when someone takes our inhib earlier than 23-24 mins we all just give up. If we try too hard they will just flame us. 😂

As i experience as a diamond 2 player usually the games are already over between 20-24 mins and we always take the inhibitors early if we're winning and just follow the minion wave and clash there because there's no objectives yet and just back if there is.

disagree. MID inhibs are useless early sure, but top/bot inhibs are great. it basically glues at least one member to that side of the map, away from all the action, allowing you to pressure other turrets, drags, counter jungle, etc

You have no idea how many times low elo players will forget about a downed inhib and will let minions reach the nexus towers.

I've played a long time and have watched many guides. This is one of those things that i've always questioned. I get that this allows enemy to catch up in gold BUT this also allows your team to get towers on the other lanes. Is that not an advantage? I guess the catch would be now they have 3 lanes they can farm safely but at that point the line is so close to their base that you can take dragons, baron, and all the jungle and still keep your lead just to push to victory. Is there something i'm missing?
Personally though I prefer to exhaust the map of monsters and minions, then go for kills, then objectives. But I cant really see any logical argument atm when there is still gold to be gained either way.

Edit: Thanks everyone for the feedback, it's enough info to conclude the idea.

This would've been true 5 years ago, it's common knowledge but the game changed so much, Udyr and Amumu can solo a baron at 20 mins now, 20 minute souls are not rare either. It's just bad advice in S13, you can end so early with constant map pressure

This decision depends on enemy team composition. If the enemy team has to burn a lot of abilities to clear the super-minion, take the inhibitor and pressure the map. If the enemy team has the means to effortlessly clear the super-minion without burning abilities, do not take the inhibitor unless you are ending the game. Typically you want to look at how many auto-attackers on the team have built BotRK or have built in percent health damage. Syndra is also reasonably well equipped to deal with a super-minion, since she will use it as ammo and can drive it backward out of the base by hurling it away on repeat. Any team with lots of answers to the super-minion means never take the inhibitor.

But the real detail to know here is that teams NEVER draft/itemize with this in mind, so they are often vulnerable to the early inhib take. You just position behind the super-minion and take the fight there, since they can't deal with it and also fight back effectively. Just know when to fight back, and make sure one teammate split pushes to get other lanes in trouble too.

Maybe in low Elo, but in my games, you can snowball because you have a permanent pressure somewhere on the map, then you can even send a strong split pusher capable player to that lane and take a Baron at 20 minutes or whatever.

I dont know, I always win with early inhibitor. Not mid inhib, thats bad, but top or bot inhibs. Get Shelly, place mid, then go 5 man bot. They will send 1 to 2 players to guard other 2 lanes, and it's gonna be 5 v 3 or 4. If you have Heimer and Yorick that's 14 v 3.

100% i'm taking inhib asap. make them send 3 people top to deal with me while the rest of the rift is free for my mid and adc to scale up.

I play literally the exact opposite of this style… you take inhib… shove other lanes get those Inhibs… it’s simple, the inhibs apply pressure on one side of the map and restricts the enemies from responding to the other side, that’s why rift herald can be insane if you skip the first tower, let the first row die naturally and then u rift the second row and can maybe get inhib if ur playing someone like Olaf or ziggs

It's not even April yet. Taking an inhibitor puts constant preassure on that lane.

Top or bot inhibs r especially good at pulling preassure away from dragon or baron so your team can keep having numbers advantage, snowballing, invading their jungle, taking their camps, etc.

Kills are just one way to get gold. Taking an inhib might not always be the best option but most of the time it probably is if they can use the advantage.

I see where its coming from but it does provide a good pressure for baron if you know what your doing. Having a dueling champ solo pushing an already pushing lane can make them force baron and lose nexus area, or respond to the lane and lose the baron.
